FaithRide - Terms of Service

FaithRide Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 18, 2025

Welcome to FaithRide, a Christian-based rideshare platform dedicated to providing safe, respectful, and faith-centered transportation. By using FaithRide as a Rider or Driver, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service.

1. Christian Code of Conduct

FaithRide operates under Christian principles. All users (Riders and Drivers) agree to conduct themselves with honesty, respect, and modesty. Profanity, inappropriate attire, harassment, or any un-Christian behavior is not permitted on the platform.

2. Independent User Agreement

Riders are considered users of the FaithRide platform. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of FaithRide. Drivers are solely responsible for maintaining valid driver’s licenses, vehicle registration, and appropriate insurance coverage as required by law.

3. Liability Disclaimer

FaithRide provides a platform for Riders and Drivers to connect. FaithRide is not responsible for accidents, injuries, damages, or disputes that occur during a ride. Riders and Drivers assume all risks associated with using the platform. FaithRide does not provide commercial insurance for Drivers or Riders.

4. Payments, Fees, and Cancellations

All payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). FaithRide does not directly handle or store payment card information. FaithRide deducts a platform service fee (e.g., 20%) from ride fares. A 20% cancellation fee may apply if a Rider cancels after 3 minutes of submitting a ride request but before pickup.

5. Data Privacy

FaithRide respects your privacy. Information you provide (such as name, phone number, and location) is used only for platform purposes and is never sold to third parties.

6. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes must first be addressed through FaithRide’s internal support process. By using FaithRide, you agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration under the laws of the State of Texas, rather than through jury trials or class actions.

7. Termination of Access

FaithRide reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any user who violates these Terms of Service, engages in unsafe conduct, or disrupts the Christian mission of the platform.

8. Updates to Terms

FaithRide may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
